2011 was a great year for my family..full of lots of life's significant moments and family time...
I started off the year focused on Scrapbooking.. (what a suprise, I know!) and at CHA...thanks to my sweet friend, Sonda, who was able to get me a ticket. :)
After seeing the pictures of myself at CHA I realized I needed a haircut...sooo....voila! I chopped off like 7 inches and felt a lot more like my sassy self!
Cammy turned 9...(with Strawberry cake!)
Wine tasting at Malibu wines...Kari had been sick and this was one of her first outings- I was so happy she was able to get out!
Maddie got her drivers permit, which was pretty much the focus the rest of the year...she was always trying to get us to let her drive...which is a very hard lesson in control and letting go!!
Cammy and Jillie had their annual dance recital...this was the first time she got to be in opening and finale...it was so great to see!!
The very next day Maddie celebrated her Confirmation at temple...a big moment in her religious education!
Then, such a bummer, Cammy fell off the bar in the yard and broke her arm! :( Right before swim parties, camp and all!
Jillian graduated from middle school!!
We celebrated her birthday at an Abba Concert in the park..dancing and singing!!
I took the Brownie troop camping and we performed our bridging ceremony with a campfire for our families...they were so excited to be Juniors!
Then we took a family vacation to the beach...including a day trip to Santa Barbara where we visited the Santa Barbara Mission
Maddie got her braces off!! Finally...that only took like 4 years!!
Jillian made JV Cheer at school...her whole summer revolved around cheer camp and cheer practice...
Kari and I were lucky enough to go away scrapbooking two weekends in a row...the first to Inspiration Unlimited in Vegas, the second, to Cayucous for a retreat...we had a GREAT time!
Cross one off the bucket list here...taking the scout troop Float Decorating for the Rose Parade!! While the work was sort of tedious, it was a really fun day and something the girls want to do again!
Hanukkah this year was full of great memories, but the best one was suprising Maddie with a car!!! She got her license a few weeks before and sharing a car with me wasn't going so well...so we got a new one!
All in all, a great year...and we are looking forward to 2012 being even BETTER!!!! Happy New Year everyone!!!

Loved how you showed your years in pictures Lisa! Gosh the girls are getting so big! I'm so jealous of our inspiration unlimited trips!
