I am so happy to be We R Memory Keeper's Guest Designer today! I'm sharing a Valentine wreath I made with their Crazy for a You collection...using my crop o dile, too!
It couldn't be easier. Each of the pinwheels was made from 2- 12 inch strips of the papers. The wider the strip, the larger the pinwheel. My largest pinwheels were 1 1/2 inches, the middle size, 1 inch and the smaller ones, 3/4 inch. I simply scored them every 1/2 inch on my paper trimmer then accordian folded them. I used my Crop-O-Dile to punch a hole in the end of my folded stack and then threaded twine through the hole of each of the strips.
Then I opened up each pinwheel and used the twine to tie each one in a circle. They stay nice and secure and will not pop open now! You can add a pop dot to join the two strips together, but the twine really helps keep them together nicely.
To create the wreath, I used the cardboard packaging and my circle cutter to create the largest circle I could, 1 inch wide. Then I tied each of the pinwheels to the circle and added a large glue dot behind each one to keep them from sliding.
You can see here that the twine lengths were long enough to thread the pinwheels and tie onto the wreath. :)
The centers were embellished with Crazy For You stickers and buttons and then I made a little banner using twine and the LOVE stickers to tie across the center. SUPER cute and SUPER easy, right!!
Thank you to We R Memory Keepers for allowing me to design for them this month! It was such a treat!!! Hope you enjoy the project and let me know if you have any questions on how to make it!

Congrats, Lisa! And lovely wreath for Valentine's!
